Description

This was a house originally built in the early to mid 1900's, the only true oceanfront house in Bella Coola. It went through quite a few owners and eventually ended up being run as a restaurant by some friends of mine who called it "The Waterfront." The food was excellent, probably some of the best Bella Coola has ever seen. Unfortunately the restaurant closed, and after changing hands a few more times, it sunk into dereliction and was recently destroyed. I managed to capture this piece of history before it was gone forever.
